By Bureau C. F. Møller Architects in the town of førde built a new "Museum of art", the concept of which is the way that continue to inspire Norwegian architects.

Near Voerde is Europe's largest glacier, Jostedalsbreen. Apparently, this fact inspired the architects. On the plan of four-storey building with an area of 3000 square meters has the form of an irregular Pentagon. Part of the volume element acts as the console above the main entrance. In the upper part of the slotted anti-aircraft window. Underground floor reserved Parking, connected to the first floor with a lift. On the first floor of the planned lobby, cafe, reception area, a cloakroom and a gift shop. Here is the basis of "sculpture" stairs gray-blue color, connecting all levels of the building. On the upper floors projected exhibition halls, office administration, workshop, library and storage space. Part of the roof is a wood-paved terrace, which can be used as an open stage or a viewing platform.

The facades of the Museum finished a milk-white glass with pattern "under the frost." "Glaciological" similarity asymmetric volume attach chaotically crisscrossing the facades gutters, symbolizing the faults in the structure of the ice. At night some of them effectively illuminated diodes.
