Architects Studio SAOTA together with Antoni Associates have designed the Cove 3 mansion. Completed in 2010, it is located on the cliff top and is part of the residential complex "The Cove" in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Modern residence maintains a close connection with landscape and ocean, perfectly integrated in the terrain.





The main ideas in the work on the project was the creation of an unbreakable living space under the roof of a single element, echoing the natural slope of the terrain. Moreover, the roof is raised to a sufficient height and almost not noticeable, inside the house it feels like you are in an open area, surrounded by beautiful nature. A triangular hole in it makes residents and their guests closer to the sky. Direct sunlight not enter the interior of the residence and does not heat the room.

The entrance to the house is designed on the upper level, where the living room, kitchen and dining room. On the lower floor is a guest bedroom, home theater and a second living room, and a relaxation area with a master bedroom made to the mezzanine. In L-shaped wing of the house designed children's rooms.
