Private house Sugar Gum on the coast

        








Design office Rob Kennon Architects presented a private house Sugar Gum located right on the coast of the Australian state of Victoria. It was built on the site of the old hut, has served the family with six children for a long 34 years. The new building covers an area of 210 sq. m. the Main requirement of the owner was not only the expansion of the residence, but improve the interior layout, greater openness, protection from winds and endless rains in winter and direct sunlight in summer. It was important for the architects to design the new building so that it does not suppress the beautiful natural environment, and became part of it.









The new residence is presented in two pavilions — one sleeping, the second day. The day unit has a living room, dining room, kitchen and Laundry, it is designed for a large number of guests. Four bedrooms including the master bedroom, bathrooms and dressing rooms are located separately, allowing residents to enjoy the peace at any time. The house is a steel modular design with panoramic views and adjoining terraces.
