One in five young people would be better to starve for 24 hours than part with their mobile phone, this is the conclusion of British scientists.
The shocking results of the study show how addicted young people now 18 to 24 years from these little devices. A study covering more than 2 thousand young people up to 25 years, shows that 21% of them would prefer to stay without food but not without a cell phone. Another 19% said they'd rather do without water than go without a mobile phone. And 11% said better off without TV. The same number said that without cell phone they would be unable to live a normal life.
A study conducted by O2 Insurance, found that from obsession led to the fact that they have less sleep. Every tenth wakes in the night to check on your mobile phone. 48% do it as soon as you get up, and 40% check it when I go to bed.
The results showed that mobile phones 61% of the owners are of a sentimental nature, as they store photos of loved ones. 45% admit that they will be devastated if I lose the phone. Despite this, 53% have not done backups, and 49% did not locked the phone with passwords and do not store cell phones in a safe place. The leaders of the study concluded that cell phones are the life of young people and serve as a Communicator with the outside world.
