Residential house Loukas Residence – round urban "fortress"
Loukas Residence is a round house built in Paphos (Cyprus) on the project of specialists from the local architectural Studio Vardastudio Architects & Designers.
Overcoming all the difficulties, the architects created a circular concrete building with expressive architecture that includes an outdoor pool with a wooden terrace and a cubic entrance area.
The concept of the house is designed to protect its inhabitants from the inconvenience of proximity to a busy road — round closed form performs the role of a small fortress city.
