New design wind turbines

"It is a device which can be one to appear on many farms and households" — Hit Evdemon, inventor of the Wind Harvester.

Indeed, the English designer of the Hit Evdemon design a wind turbine that can produce cheap electricity, and its cost will be available to ordinary citizens.

He did install only two horizontal blades with a length of 1 meter each, which can operate in different ranges of wind speed. Wind Harvester has advantages over standard wind turbines that its work is done almost silently, and the wind speed required for the operation, can be as very low or high. In the standard case, the wind turbines have three blades rotating around a horizontal axis. They work at certain altitudes and the most optimal wind speed for them is considered to be 48 km/hour, and if it is more than 80 km/h, this turbine just shut down. In contrast, the new installation has no such faults, and can even withstand weak storms. From the point of view of security, it is also the best option. In the fall Wind. will not bring such losses as high wind turbine with the blades, since its working height is just two feet above the ground. Therefore, it is recommended for use for private purposes of the owners of farms and homes. If desired, it can even be installed in public places. That is where ordinary windmills can't be used.

Energy production in Wind Harvester takes place by reciprocating movements of both blades. The first one rises up under the influence of the wind flow, then it reaches its maximum point of elevation and changes the angle of its inclination, which leads to her lower back. So rises the second horizontal blade. And all repeats again. The type of pendulum.

The whole unit has small dimensions and can be manufactured in different sizes with a maximum value of the length of the blade – 15 metres. It must be installed in places with good wind movement. It can be slopes, hills or simply the most ventilated place. Simple construction, windmill installation can be easily disassembled and assembled at the desired location. So there is no need to use special equipment for installation.

Hit Evdemon, founder of Wind Power Innovations Ltd planned it 6 years ago, but could not implement the project and build the first working model. Only this year he was able to introduce and demonstrate the principle. His work is supported by Nottingham Trent University (Nottingham University), in the framework of the project Future Factory. He soon plans to install it in the Derbyshire Peak District National Park, UK.
