Sauna, which can be built in 9 days

Denizen Sauna is the project presented by architects Denizen Works + Friends in July 2011.

Located on the territory of the åland Islands in Finland, this sauna is one of the main social functions of the house, as in most of the farms in Scandinavia.

For 12 years the owner of the residence tried to obtain permission for construction on the site of an abandoned boat house near the main house. The result is a mobile version, resembling a giant sleigh in the winter the sauna can be moved on the frozen lake in search of the hole.

Sauna built with local timber, the cost of the project amounted to £3465 and the implementation took only 9 days.
