American University student card replaced scanners eyes

Current technologies require many different methods of authentication are smart cards with embedded RFID chips, phones with NFC modules, fingerprint scanners. And at the University of Winthrop in South Carolina (USA) introduced another progressive solution to traditional student at this University replaces the eye scanners that read the pattern of the iris.



This program is implemented together with the company, Iris ID, it is specified that it is not the only one such project in the U.S., for example, in South Dakota similar scanners installed on school buses. University students are now able to take control, without taking any documents and without using the hands.
