Apple is going to release a smart pen Bashny.Net

The office of the United States patent and trademark office (USPTO) gave Apple a patent on "Portable computers" (Рortable Сomputers).
The idea is to create a digital pen-computer with extended functions. As planned, the device will receive a built-in display, microphone, speaker, accelerometer and battery. Moreover, the mentioned receiver satellite navigation system GPS module to connect to cellular networks.



The pen-computer can recognize handwritten input to convert speech to text and Vice versa. Users will have the ability to view the display of text messages, emails and other information.
In other words, the gadget can partly replace ordinary mobile device, electronic notebook and GPS Navigator. It may well be that such a device will play the role of companion to a tablet computer or phone.
