Apple will build eco-friendly flying saucer

The company Apple announced intentions to build in Cupertino new home for its headquarters, which, according to article published content, will be similar to a flying saucer.
The main requirement to the construction presented long before the creation of the layout — minimal damage to the environment. This challenge was overcome by the architects and engineers of the Studio of Norman foster. The campus will be equipped with solar panels and a natural ventilation system — this technology allows to reduce the waste of energy by 30%.





In the building in addition to offices, corporations and research centres, will also all the necessary infrastructure for employees: a fitness center, sleeping quarters, restaurant and auditorium.





The floor area of the buildings will be 2 800 000 sq. m. It can accommodate up to 14 000 employees.

The construction of the new Apple campus will be finished by the end of 2015 — beginning of 2016.
