British architect Norman foster has shown the world one of the most ambitious of its projects, the SkyCycle. In it, he proposed to build across London a large network of tunnels-viaducts, which are designed not for cars but for bicycles.
Some time ago the mayor of London Boris Johnson has soushil that the authorities of the British capital plan to allocate over a billion pounds for Cycling infrastructure in the city. The purpose of this project is not just forcing people to change to two-wheeled vehicles, but also to make the movement in them is comfortable and fast.
SkyCycle by Norman foster, is one of the projects, which are aimed at achieving the above goal. Its essence is to close to build 220 kilometers of overpasses that stretch through all areas of the city and will have many intersections with each other.
