Motorcycle on biofuel cross the Antarctic at -72C

Maybe from the outside, this vehicle looks like a normal Lego bricks, but in reality is a wonderful concept from Lotus, which is able to move on the ice and to withstand temperatures up to -72C.



Lotus ski buggy can reach speeds up to 135 km/h, runs on biofuel. Adapted BMW 1150 engine that is mounted on the motorcycles emit less pollutants compared to an engine that run on ordinary fuel.

The concept will need to conquer the distance of 4800 km across the Antarctic.
"Antarctica is one of the great mysteries of the world," says Kieron Bradley, a former designer of Formula 1, who created the concept of a Lotus from very light materials.
