5 scientific theories of time travel
Unfortunately, none of these theories are not proven experimentally verify them is quite difficult. However, they rely on the laws of science and phenomena.
1. Time machine: cylinder Tipler
To use time machine on the basis of the cylinder Tipler, you need to leave Earth on a spaceship and go into space to the cylinder that it rotates. When you are enough closer to the surface of the cylinder (the space around it will be for the most part "webnote", deformed), you will need several times around it and back to Earth. You will arrive in time. How far into the past depends on how many times you will go around the cylinder orbit. Even if you feel that your own time is moving forward as usual, while you go around the cylinder, outside the distorted space you will inevitably move in the past. Is still that you go up the spiral staircase and find that with each full circle are one step below.
2.Donuts event vacuum
According to Amos ori of the Israel Institute of technology in Haifa, space can be twisted enough to create a local gravity field that looks like a donut of a certain size. Gravitational field forms circles around this doughnut, so time and space are tight. It is important to note that this state of Affairs negates the need for any hypothetical exotic matter. Although how it will look in the real world to describe quite difficult. Ori says the mathematics showed that at equal intervals of time inside the donut in a vacuum will be formed in a time machine. All you need to do is get there. In theory you can go at any time since it was built in a time machine.
3. Exotic matter
In physics, exotic matter is matter that somehow differs from the normal and has some "exotic" properties. Since time travel is considered non-physical, physicists believe that so-called tachyons (hypothetical particles, for which the speed of light is a state of rest) either do not exist or unable to interact with normal matter. But when negative energy or mass — the same exotic matter, or a matter twists space-time, made possible all the incredible phenomenon: wormhole there may be tunnels connecting remote areas of the universe; warp drive, which allows travel faster than the speed of light; a time machine that will allow you to go back in time.
4.Cosmic strings
Cosmic strings are hypothetical 1-dimensional (spatially) topological defects in the fabric of space-time left from the time of formation of the universe. With their help, in theory, can be formed in the fields of closed time-like curves, allowing travel into the past. Some scholars suggest using "cosmic strings" to construct a time machine. If you sum two cosmic strings close enough to one another, or one string to the black hole, in theory it can create a whole array of "closed time-like curves". If you do a carefully calculated "eight" on a space ship around two infinitely long cosmic strings in the theory can be anywhere, anytime.
5. Through a black hole
A black hole has an incredible effect on time, slowing it down as nothing else in the galaxy. In fact, it is a natural time machine. If the mission of circling around the black hole ran a land Agency, they circled the orbit would take 16 minutes. But for the brave people on Board the ship, which is close to a massive object, time would go very slowly. Much slower than on Earth. The time for the team be slowed down by half. For every 16 minutes they would have only 8.
