LEED-certified football stadium in Brazil
Built last year, the sports arena Forte Nova in Salvador, Brazil recently received Silver LEED certification, confirming a high level of environmental friendliness of this project. He replaced the old one started to crumble a stadium in the city centre, from recycled materials which mainly was built. Among the most notable from a technical point of view, elements of the building, it is worth noting its unique membrane roof, one of the easiest stadionnyj roofs in the world (45 kg per sq. m.), developed by the German engineering firm RFR.
