Autonomous eco-house by the lake by Branch Studio Architects
Architectural company Branch Studio Architects has built a small wooden house in the provincial part of the Australian state of Victoria. Initially, customers planned to use it as a place to store various agricultural equipment, but as a result, it received a second purpose as a secluded dwelling for recreation near a small picturesque lake. The side walls of the house are sheathed with panels of corrugated metal, and the front and rear facades are made in the form of a glass wall. Thanks to solar panels, wood fireplace, as well as a rainwater collection system, it is fully autonomous and provided with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
