Ecohome folded like baby cubes
Japanese architect Keisuke Maeda from the design bureau UID architects built an unusual house in the countryside at the edge of a large forest. The design of the house consists of several long wooden blocks, hoisted on top of each other like baby cubes. Due to this, the trees and plants around the site remained intact, and in addition, one of the elements of the house was able to place “on weight” entirely surrounded by the forest.
