FlameStower, founded by two Americans Andrew Byrnes and Adam Kell, has begun taking pre-orders for its original eponymous device. The FlameStower Fire Charger works as an efficient power generator over temperature differences, so the device will only need fire and a small amount of water as a cooler.

FlameStower is based on folding aluminum legs that help to precisely fit the height under the heat source. Charging gadgets (tablets, phones, navigators, etc.) occurs through a standard USB port. The total weight of the charger is not more than 226 grams, folded length - 196 mm, width - 57 mm and height of 25 mm.
