Electric hypercar Rimac Concept One will go into the series Bashny.Net

It seems that the most ambitious project in the field of electric vehicles, after the birth of the Tesla Model S will be implemented. The young Croatian company Rimac Automobili has announced that the search for investors for the construction of electric hypercar has been completed and in the nearest future the model of the Rimac Concept One will appear in front of buyers in serial form.



To allocate the necessary funds agreed Colombian oil tycoon Frank Yepes and company Sinocop Resources. The latter, as it became known, would become the owner of a 10% stake of the automaker, and the terms of the transaction with Yepes have not been disclosed. At the same time, representatives of the Rimac Automobili noted that at this stage, the company received a financial infusion in the amount of 8 million euros, which should be enough for the creation of six electric hypercar of the 88 plan.

The Rimac Concept One, which was in the concept version unveiled 3 years ago in Frankfurt, is equipped with a power unit consisting of 4 electric motors. In sum, they give out 1088 HP, and for a car of this type, this figure will be a record.

To accelerate the Rimac Concept One can up to 305 kilometers per hour and capacity of batteries it will be enough for 600 kilometers of Autonomous run on one charge cycle.



But the interesting thing is that the company Rimac Automobili, which is old only 5 years old, made his one creation entirely in-house. From elements taken from other manufacturers, on the Rimac Concept One are only glass and tires.

Also, it should be noted that the founder of this ambitious automaker to the Croat Mate RIMAC, at the time of the founding of the company was only 21 years old.
