The electric SUV has been tested in Russia





In April, completed the testing of an electric vehicle with extended range Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, which for 2 months was held in Moscow, Tolyatti and Yekaterinburg.

To check the performance of elektrovagonniy in the Russian context, three Outlander PHEV 8 weeks was tested on Russian roads at low temperatures, during temperature changes, in terms of the off-season. In total, each machine has more than 30 000 km.





Employees of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation and MMC Rus, who conducted the test noted that at low temperatures (below -35°C) charging the electric vehicle from an external source is not increased, low temperature did not impact on the health of the Outlander PHEV, including on the roads.

Also the electric car with extended range went through a number of tests on different road surfaces, from broken roads to this terrain with flooded areas. It is noted that the system of full drive S-AWC has stood the test and demonstrated the readiness for operation in Russia. The Outlander PHEV can be charged either from the usual outlets and from a quick charging station CHAdeMO and energy recovery during braking. Such equipment allows the use of Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV as a 100% electric car. The range of the vehicle is more than 880 km.
