Ecohome of 6 wooden "cubes"
Spanish architectural firm Alventosa Morell Arquitectes has built a residential building consisting of six cubic format modules. The project was developed in accordance with the main requirements of the customer - low cost, short terms and a good level of energy efficiency. The use of wood as the main material for the construction and decoration of the house allowed to reduce costs due to the fact that everything needed was purchased from a single supplier. In addition, the wooden structure naturally integrates into the natural surroundings of the site with many trees. Highly efficient insulation, as well as the application of the principles of "solar design" have significantly reduced energy consumption - according to the developers, the heating costs in this house are 76% lower than in similar buildings in size and purpose.
