Question the safety of GMOs is still not closed. The developers modified foods have failed to provide conclusive evidence about their safety. Scientists still do not cease to appeal to lawmakers with a request for the temporary suspension of food with genetic modification of their composition.

While legislators of the Russian Federation re-examine this issue, scientists are conducting experiments on mice. There is also a group of people who agreed to be volunteers to assess the impact GM foods have on the body average person.

In this regard, the Russian scientists are asked to restrict the sale of genetically modified products at the time of the research.

Today, scientists are not sure in absolute safety of GM foods, and maybe, they cause cancer, infertility and a number of irreparable mutations to the human body.

As the harvest of genetically engineered crops on the volume exceeds the normal harvest of crops, the share of genetically modified food on the shelves every year becomes more and more. And this is cause for serious research, scientists say.
