"Citélib by Ha:Mo"—public cars in Grenoble





  


  

Since October 2014 in Grenoble (France) will operate a network of public vehicles. It will consist of 70 ultra-compact electric vehicle Toyota i-ROAD and COMS and 30 charging stations. The project called "Citélib by Ha:Mo", the words "harmony" and "mobility".

Service on the public use of cars will enable the client to take the car in one point and return it to another point. The current project extends the capabilities of the company's customer service and aims to improve linkages between the various types of public transport (trams, buses, trains).





To participate in the project, Toyota allocates 70 ultra-compact electric vehicles. Toyota COMS (single, four-wheeled, with a small compartment in the back for Luggage) and the Toyota i-ROAD (two-seat, three-wheel, with active optimization).

The project was made possible through the partnership of the city authorities, Grenoble-Alpes Métropole, EDF Group, Toyota and Citélib. The developed system allows to save time, reduce traffic congestion and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the city.
