In Australia there is a trapping and marking of sharks
More than 170 sharks caught near the West coast of Australia to ensure the safety of bathing, the 50 largest of them killed. The remaining fish were released into the wild, marking them specially, according to the Ministry of fisheries of Western Australia.
Working with sharks is the decision of the authorities of the state to ensure the safety of swimming in coastal waters. The program was launched after the deaths of six people from the teeth of marine predators in these waters. The program lasts for three years.
Some criticize the actions of the authorities, believing that the catching of sharks will not reduce the number of attacks on people, but will harm the ecosystem. They indicate that among the sharks caught was not a single great white shark, these predators often kill people.
