Shimmering power plant for household waste
New power plant in the Danish city of Roskilde, built by architect Eric von Egeraat, produces electricity and heat from burning debris collected from nine surrounding municipalities. The building features a spectacular facade, which consists of two layers: the first performs the function of a climatic barrier, and the second, made of aluminum plates with a laser cut round holes is illuminated from within with the help of illuminative system, periodically changing the volume of coverage from the weak flickering lights up to a bright light.
