Rebecca Hosking and her farm's future

The Creator of films on wildlife Rebecca Hosking is conducting a study of how to make her family farm in Devon, such that it consumes little energy and was prepared for the future. She discovers that the key to solving this problem is by the nature. Her father had retired, and Rebecca returned to their farm, where it is still preserved the wild life is to become the next generation of farmers, cultivating the land. However, last year's high fuel prices have become a serious warning for Rebecca.

Aware of the fact that the entire food industry in the UK is completely dependent on abundant cheap fossil fuel, particularly oil, she decides to find out how the oil supply system is reliable. The findings have alarmed Rebekah, and she begins to seek methods of farming that do not require the use of fossil fuels. In the process of familiarization with innovative ideas for farmers and gardeners Rebecca begins to realize that nature is the key to knowing how to make the economy demanded little in the future of energy.
