H2Pro - a device that filters the water and generates electricity at the same time

17-year-old inventor from Australia at the annual science fair projects Google Science Fair has developed a portable purifier, which provides clean water and generates electricity from hydrogen.

The H2Pro project aimed at solving two global challenges: how to provide clean water and electricity to all those people worldwide who do not have access to them. Currently 780 million people lack access to clean drinking water, while 1.2 billion people live without electricity.

As a result of long experiments Cynthia found that her device in the water purification process capable of generating hydrogen and decided to take advantage of that, turning it into electricity using photo-catalytic reaction.
Thus was developed an Autonomous cleaner that does not require additional power source like most of its global counterparts. This means that it can be used in remote locations where there is no access to electricity. published
