In India will build a textile factory with zero waste production

Exploration Architecture has designed a fabric factory that works without waste. When creating the project, the architects were inspired by wildlife - the light and light-transmitting structure of the roof is made in the image and likeness of the glass sponge Euplectell, Inhabitat reports.

In addition to the mesh structure taken from the glass sponge, the roof of the factory is equipped with solar panels, which should fully meet the needs of production. It is planned to save on lighting: natural light will penetrate through the glass coating on a long hot Indian day. In general, resources will be used very wisely in the building, and water supply will also be organized as economically as possible.

The Exploration Architecture factory, with six hundred jobs, should use minimal resources while providing excellent working conditions. This concept, which will be more widely revealed later, will upend the Indian textile industry.

P.S. And remember, just by changing our consumption – together we change the world!
