Nissan has introduced a new electric car Nissan Leaf 2016 model year. The new version has a more capacious battery, allowing to increase the mileage on one charge up to 250 km.





Capacity of new batteries is 30 kWh instead of 24. Such performance was achieved due to a more dense lithium-ion batteries, which increased the number of SOT optimized the chemical processes that allowed to increase the capacity of the battery at the same size. The weight of the new batteries increased by 21 kg, and the range of electric cars now is about 250 km, instead of 180-200.





Sales of electric vehicles will begin in the UK later this year at a price of 24 000 pounds. The factory warranty on the batteries is given for a period of 8 years or 160 000 km. published
