Essential oil hyssop: methods of application

Hyssop is a perennial odorous herb or shrub of the family Labiatae. This herb with erect quadrangular stem that grows up to 20-25 cm in height. Its small leaves are short entire. ACTION:

antiseptic, astringent, bactericidal, antispasmodic, carminative, expectorant, antipyretic, cardiotonic, hypertensive, anti-allergic, diaphoretic, sedative, tonic, resolving, healing. Massage and rubbing: 10-12 drops per 20 ml of bases;

Compresses: 14-16 drops per 20 ml of oil to a warm compress. Dip a soft cotton cloth, wring out and apply to area of spasms, pain, irritation or inflammation. For cold water compress 5 drops in 25 ml. of water, also applying the cloth to the area of injury.

Gargle: 2 drops with 1 tsp. L. soda, honey or salt to a glass of warm water;

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
