Citroen showed a new electric E-Elysee, in Beijing
The French company Citroen has presented at the motor show in Beijing's new electric E-Elysee.
As a budget sedan C-Elysee is the best-selling Citroen model in China, the manufacturer decided to make "green" version of the car. No detailed specifications of the new electric cars, Citroen has not provided, however some specifications yet announced.
So electric car will have a range of up to 155 miles (250 kilometers) on a single battery charge. The charging time of lithium-ion batteries is 6.5 hours from a household outlet of 220 V, and in fast charging mode energy is replenished in 30 minutes.
It is expected that the electric sedan will appear on the Chinese market in 2017. The new machine is also designed to strengthen the company's intention "to become a key player among the manufacturers of electric cars to the Chinese audience."
In addition, the focus on electric vehicles in Beijing has provided the French brand the opportunity to present to the Chinese public its latest car: the Citroën E-MEHARI - all-electric 4-seater convertible with a unique personality. published
