Honda announced the beginning of sales of the updated sedan Accord Hybrid. This mid-size car allegedly combines power, efficiency and high-tech solutions.



The car is equipped with 2.0-liter engine i-VTEC, which operates on the Atkinson cycle: stroke (3rd stroke of the Otto cycle) increased by the complexity of the crank mechanism that allows to obtain good environmental performance and efficiency. A few of the internal combustion engine is an electric motor. The total capacity reaches 212 horsepower.



Accord Hybrid 2017 model year received many upgrades, including a multimedia system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, safety package, Honda Sensing, as well as original wheels and led optics. More compact battery has allowed to increase the capacity of the Luggage compartment.



"A hybrid version of the Accord is distinguished by exceptional dynamic characteristics, coupled with fuel efficiency," commented senior Vice President and CEO of the us office of Honda Jeff Conrad. Claimed fuel consumption is 4.8 liters in the urban setting.

As for the cost Accord Hybrid 2017 model year, it starts at approximately 30 000$.
