You are not responsible for the happiness of anyone

Get it right now. You are not responsible for the happiness of anyone. You do not cause unhappiness to anyone. A hard lesson, but the most liberating of all.

You can still care, listen, understand the pain people around you, to feel deep compassion for them. You can take responsibility (which is NOT the SAME as guilt) for what you once did or said, even though you can't change the past.

You may suffer, experiencing their feelings and thinking their thoughts. But you're not the cause of the suffering of the people around you, no matter how much they cry, scream, and blame you. Under pressure, trying to hang on you "feeling of pity".

If necessary, you can offer them your truth, the Council, their medicine. But you're not guilty.

You can't complement, harmonize someone, you can't make someone defective, incomplete. People walk your own path and you go your own. Their happiness is their adventure, and your happiness is your adventure.

You see that true happiness cannot be given away or bring back. True happiness is the Source. The Presence Of It.

It is the willingness to learn your own experience, not shifting the burden on others.

It is the willingness not to seek for love outside yourself, but find its much closer. In your breath.

No-th-th I do not want...

In every feeling of joy or suffering, happiness or boredom. In every heart beat, every sound, every passionate desire, every sacred moment of life.

You're alive.
