The Russian office of Renault has announced the beginning of acceptance of orders for electric cars Twizy and Kangoo Z. E., which were previously available only for corporate clients of the company. Prices for the Twizy start from 799 thousand rubles, and the Kangoo Z. E. will cost at least 2 million 289 thousand rubles.





Renault Twizy is equipped with an electric motor, developing 17 horsepower and 57 Nm of torque. The compact car is able to accelerate from a standstill to 45 miles per hour in 6.1 seconds and its top speed is 80 kilometers per hour. For charging batteries from a household outlet takes 3.5 hours.

Twizy is available in Russia in three trim levels: Urban, Cargo and Trend. The basic equipment of the electric car provides a driver's airbag, daytime running lights and immobilizer. Option Cargo (from 959 thousand rubles) is a waterproof Luggage compartment with a volume of 200 liters, the installation of which became possible due to refusal of the passenger seat.

Renault Kangoo Z. E. is equipped with an electrical system, outstanding 60 horsepower and 226 Nm of torque. The van is able to pass without recharging up to 170 kilometers, and its maximum speed is 130 kilometers per hour.
