Robot for washing windows

A large number of windows in the house and nice and useful thanks to natural light and fresh air, but washing is a tedious task. The Chinese company Ecovacs, generating robot cleaners, has developed a new type of home robotics designed for fully automatic washing glasses.

A device called Winbot, as well as the vacuum cleaner sucks all impurities vertically moving the glass to which it clings to power 2 and 8 kPa. The device is powered by the mains, but in the case of accidental loss of power the robot is capable of at least 15 minutes to be stuck to glass thanks to the onboard battery.

The robot is equipped with three rubber brushes and polishing the surface of the microfiber, which is applied to the cleaning detergent for windows. 19 thousand rotations per minute of the motor blades allows the robot to effectively clean the window, moving on it along a path in the shape of the letter N or Z. The trajectory of the robot is determined in advance by pre-scanning the surface of the glass. The sensors allow the robot to recognize the frameless windows and turn in the right place, bumpers protect the window frame during the movement of the robot.

The cleaning robot is able to wash the window width of 45 × 65 cm and up to 4 and 3 m in height due to long cord. This robot performs washing pretty quiet at 65 dB. The remote control makes it easy to control the robot. Useful electronic cleaners Ecovacs marked by prestigious international awards including the Red Dot.
