This clamshell-trailer - the best that has been thought up for outdoor recreation

Getting the nature away from the bustle of the city and enjoy the fresh country air - a real pleasure. But most people have to give up this idea, because so many things need to take with you, and grow out of the city is good sometimes difficult.

Fortunately for these people by the Dutch architect and designer Edward Bottling (Eduard Bohtlingk) was coined trailer caravan called "Marquis» (Markies).

"Marquis" was shown in the Netherlands Urban Campsite festival dedicated to camping, back in 1995 and was awarded the prize in Rotterdam.







When assembled, the house 2 m wide and 4 m long, looks like a normal trailer. But as soon as the side walls are moved, its volume increases as much as 3 times.







The area in the unfolded state is 30 square meters.

Living least elegant, sitting in it, you can enjoy nature and feel quite comfortable. A transparent roof protects from wind and insects.







With such a mobile home, you can go to the end of the world.
