Chinese auto giant and the Formula E team came together for a sports car production with zero emissions capable of gaining "hundreds" in less than three seconds.




CarNewsChina Chinese website has published the first official photos of the electric supercar company BAIC. Public premiere of new items will be held on April 25 at the Beijing Auto Show.

Coupe has been developed in the European BAIC design center in Barcelona with the participation of experts of the Spanish racing team Campos Racing. The machine is based on the electric car Formula E Chinese team China Racing.



Overall length of the supercar was 4570 millimeters, width - 2040 mm, and height - 1214 millimeters. The size of the wheelbase is 2800 millimeters.

Specifications are kept secret. So far we only know that the new product is able to recruit "hundreds" for three seconds, and its top speed was 260 kilometers per hour. Novelty can travel without recharging the battery up to 300 kilometers.

At the end of 2015 company BAIC announced that it plans to build electric car, which will compete for customers with the Tesla Model S. It is expected that the power reserve model will be about 480 kilometers.
