Germany took control for the first time the plasma: coal, gas and oil now will not need

German scientists from the Plasma Physics Max Planck Institute (Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics) made a huge step towards a clean and virtually inexhaustible fusion energy, reports Science Alert.

As explained on the official website of the scientific institution, its staff have achieved a stable fusion reaction with the excess allocated to energy expended over using a device called a stellarator. Experts previously talked about the huge potential of stellarators for decades, but the first time were able to gain control over plasma.

Nuclear fusion occurs when the atoms at extremely high temperatures, and is fraught with enormous potential to produce almost unlimited amount of energy. Similar processes occur in the Sun last 4, 5 billion years, providing energy including Earth.

If German scientists will be able to replicate the results in other settings, mankind expects energy revolution, and the demand for fossil energy sources (coal, gas, oil, and so on. D.) May fall away completely. The official Twitter Institute scientists congratulate colleagues on the result achieved.

As reported, the made during the 2015 revolutionary breakthrough in alternative energy technologies (this applies particularly to Germany), and introduction of revolutionary energy systems as a whole in all the countries of Central and Western Europe considerably reduces the demand for hydrocarbons.

Another determinant of prices (more precisely tsinosnizhayuschim) factor for world petroleum market, began to actively manifest in 2015, but which are not yet giving tangible impact is the introduction of electric vehicles in the fashion, which actively resisted the major players of the global automotive industry and oil traders.
