On the coming of Korean women to become like the western women

In South Korea, the highest level of cosmetic surgeries per capita. And the Koreans want to be like white women - and go for the sake of great sacrifices.





New York photographer Ji Yeo went to South Korea to lift the women after surgery. She contacted them on the forum, and about ten young women agreed to shoot. One of the heroines of the project for six months underwent 16 operations.





A series of photos tells the story of how costly follow current standards of beauty in society.
