One Show 2008: All the same - side view

King honored the audience with his appearance on the last evening of the festival One Show in New York, but even His Majesty the Burger King could not resist the McCann Worldgroup and TAG and their campaign «Believe» for Halo 3, which dominated the festival, gathering numerous gold pencils and won the nomination Best in Show.

His Majesty received the title of Burger King "Client of the Year" in passing snatch two gold awards and one silver for the work «Whopper Freakout».





Many eminent prize winners were already tired after winning the three shows in two weeks (Epuron «Power of Wind,» prints for Tide Ultra, Mac vs. PC by TBWA, «signatures" for Amnesty International), but there were some surprises. For example, the gold went to the "1984 Focus Group» of agency Arnold and almost 10 minutes of the film «The Key To Reserva» by agency JWT Spain for Freixenet. None of the heavyweights of Fallon London won the gold not in this battle - two spot (Cadbury «Gorilla» and Sony «Play-Doh») received a bronze medal.

TBWA network won with a score of 12 awards, BBDO New York in second place with 9 awards, closes the top three with Saatchi & Saatchi Lucky Seven.

Works from the United States received 50 pencils, works from other countries - 43. Canada won 7 pencils, leads among non-American winners.
