Flowers by Mayakovsky

One of the most touching stories of life Mayakovsky happened to him in Paris, where he fell in love with Tatiana Yakovleva.

Between them there could be nothing. Russian emigre, precise and refined, brought to Pushkin and Tiutchev, it does not take a word of chopped, hard, ragged poems fashion Soviet poet, "icebreaker" from the Land of the Soviets.

She even did not take any of his words - even in real life. Frenzied, frenetic, going ahead, living in the last breath, he frightened her with his unbridled passion. It did not touch his canine devotion, it was not won over by his fame. Her heart remains indifferent. Mayakovsky left for Moscow alone.

From this instant the outbreak of love and held it remained secret sorrow, and we - the magical poem "Letter to Tatiana Yakovleva" with the words: "I do not care you ever take - One or two of Paris!»

She left flowers. Or rather - Flowers. All the fee for the Paris performances Vladimir Mayakovsky put it in the bank at the expense of the well-known Parisian flower company with the sole condition that a few times a week to Tatyana Yakovleva brought a bouquet of the most beautiful and unusual flowers - hydrangeas, Parma violets, black roses, tea roses, orchids, asters or chrysanthemums. The Paris company with a solid name clearly follow the instructions of the client's erratic - and since then, regardless of the weather and time of year, every year at the door knocking Tatyana Yakovleva messengers with bouquets of fantastic beauty and a single sentence: "From Mayakovsky." He died in 1930 - the news stunned her like a blow unexpected strength. She had grown accustomed to the fact that he regularly interferes in her life, she had grown accustomed to know that he is somewhere there, and sending her flowers. They had not seen, but the fact of the existence of a man who so loves her, influenced everything that happens to her: so the Moon in one degree or another affects all inhabitants of the earth, because constantly rotates close.

She did not understand how to live on - without this mad love, dissolved in colors. However, the disposal, the company abandoned flower love poet, was not a word of his death. And the next day at her doorstep messenger came with the same flavor and the same words: "From Mayakovsky».

It is said that great love is stronger than death, but not everyone manages to make this statement in real life. Vladimir Mayakovsky succeeded. Flowers brought in 1930, when he died, and in 1940, when about him already forgotten. During World War II in German-occupied Paris, she survived only because it was selling on the boulevard, these luxury bouquets. If every flower was the word "love", that for several years the word of his love saved her from starvation. Then the Allied forces liberated Paris, then she, along with all cried with happiness when the Russian came to Berlin - and all carrying bouquets. Messengers were growing in her eyes, came to replace the old new, and the new already knew that becoming part of the great legends - a small, but essential. And now as the password that gives them a pass into eternity, they said in a conspiratorial smile: "From Mayakovsky." Flowers by Mayakovsky and Paris are now history. True or a beautiful fantasy, but one day in the late '70s, a young Arkady Ryvlin, future Soviet engineer, heard the story from his mother and wanted to get to Paris.

Tatyana Yakovleva was still alive and gladly accepted his compatriot. They had a long talk about everything with tea and cakes.

In this cozy house flowers were everywhere - as a tribute to the legend, and he was uncomfortable asking gray royal lady about her youth novel: he thought it bad. But at some point, I did not stand, and asked the truth to say that flowers from Mayakovsky saved her during the war? Is not that a beautiful fairy tale? Is it possible for so many years ... "Drink tea, - said Tatiana, - drink tea. You do not rush anywhere? »

And at that moment the doorbell rang ... He had never in my life have not seen such a luxurious bouquet, which was barely visible messenger, Japanese chrysanthemums bouquet of gold, similar clusters of sun. And because of armfuls of sparkling splendor voice messenger said: "From Mayakovsky».
