Iceland's total population of about 320 000 people - with so many there is always a chance of accidentally fall in love with some distant relative. In order to prevent love affairs among relatives, it has created an online database that stores information about all of the families in Iceland. It is called Íslendingabók («The Book of Icelanders") and is the product of cooperation between the company and the genetic research firm, dedicated software.
"The Book of Icelanders" can also alert the user that some famous person is a relative.
