The first hacker hacked the wireless telegraph

Hackers existed before the advent of the first computers. First they can be considered representative of the Englishman Neville Maskelyne, who was a professional magician, and well versed in the art. After successful experiments Marconi transmission overseas communications by wireless telegraph in 1901, one of the wired telegraph companies hired Maskelyne and set the task to discredit the new technology. Magician built a 50-foot radio tower to listen to signals exchanged between ships and shore, and found that in the Marconi had no protection, except that of setting the transmitter on a specific frequency. Maskelyne showed his find to a public demonstration of wireless telegraphy at the Royal Institution in London - before the start of the show suddenly gained apparatus and transmitted the text of that Marconi hangs people to deceive.
