74-year-old Leonard Knight last two decades builds and paints the mountain in the California desert. Create Mountain Rescue (Salvation Mountain), completely covered with quotations from the Bible and religious appeals, Knight began in 1985 and has been doing this today. His unusually bright creation is recognized as one of the most outstanding works of art in the open air.
