Member of «Mars One» denounced the organizers of the project, after which he was expelled from the program

Professor Joseph Roche astrophysicist from Trinity College Dublin, was one of 100 finalists missions to Mars - «Mars One», but after his frank interview with «Medium», in which he harshly criticized the organizers of the project, he was expelled from the program.

In an interview with Joseph said that the organizers are trying to get funds for the project by the participants themselves. So, they need to give 75% of all participants' income from fees for media interviews. Also, when compiling lists of the 100 people who came to the final stage of selection, preference was given to those who donated to the fund more projects, as well as buying goods at the brand «Mars One».

But more and more scientists alarmed gross negligence selection procedure and testing future colonists. Interview with the man who will have to move the seven-month flight to Mars, and then do the colonization of the planet in intolerable conditions, in just 10 minutes. And it's not even a personal interview, and Skype conference.

For much easier travel, NASA astronauts undergo a severe selection, and after that, long-term training.

"Amateur Video, carelessly completed application form, a short interview on Skype - that's all the information they have collected," - says the scientist. What is even more frightening, the organizers did not even bother to conduct a medical examination of candidates.

But the main thing that scientists fear is that after the failure of the mission «Mars One», people permanently lost the desire to colonize other planets, which will undoubtedly have a negative impact on the development of mankind.

After this interview, the company «Mars One» published a report stating that Joseph Roche is no longer a member of the program, in connection with the violation of the rules of "confidentiality".
