Poppies Castle Tower in memory of the First World
As you remember, 2014 was the year in relation to the symbolic of the First World War. This year marks exactly one hundred years since the beginning of one of the largest armed conflict in the history of our planet.
Britain took an active part in the hostilities, involving at the same time and their colonies. Ceramic artist Paul Cummins (Paul Cummins) and set designer Tom Piper (Tom Piper) implemented for the occasion incredibly ambitious project. They built in a dry moat around the Tower of London is located 888 246 red ceramic poppies. Why so many?
