LG G Watch: A complete analysis of iFixit (and 9 out of 10 on a scale to be repaired)
The guys from iFixit disassembled the new devices continue, quite literally, on cogs. Now they dismantled the smart watch from LG, LG G Watch.
Interestingly, this little device has been very rationally assembled in such a way that almost any shop will be able to repair the clock. Ranked # 9 of 10 on a scale to be repaired (10 - the highest score) speaks for itself.
This is not Microsoft Surface Pro 2, which received a score of 10.
That's what used to disassemble a watch:
Unscrew all 4 screws T5 Torx, otschelkivaem couple mounts and all - you can open the case.
Remove the battery. This is - 3.8 V, 400 mAh battery. Incidentally, a similar model from Samsung is set to 300 mAh battery.
But the tiny rubber gasket, which serves to protect the clock from dust and makes them waterproof (up to dive under water to a depth of 1 meter for half an hour). In general, diving is not recommended, usually "diving 1m" - a welcome marketers. But the dishes they can wash. Maybe take a shower too (check? :))
Remove miniature motherboard.
Some items are circled colored border.
- Red: SK Hynix H9TU32A4GDMC 512 MB DRAM (Qualcomm APQ8026 located under this chip);
- Orange: chip Qualcomm PM8226, energy management;
- Yellow 6- axis accelerometer InvenSense MPU-6515;
- Green: InvenSense INMP441 microphone;
- Blue: 2407 DSH 12EDF
The reverse side of the board
- Red: display controller Synaptics S3402B ClearPad 3400;
- Yellow: chip Broadcom BCM20715 Bluetooth 4.0
That's all, watches disassembled:
If suddenly your smart clock LG G Watch something suddenly happens, and the warranty period will be released, you know that you can repair the watch without problems.
