Pictures of Conrad John Godley
A selection of paintings by the artist - Conrad John Godley, a favorite theme of which is the mountains.
His paintings show the beauty and majesty of the mountains.
Paintings by John Godley mountains Conrad (Conrad Jon Godly) allow us to estimate the incredible skill of the Swiss painter. The combination of blue, black and white colors, mixing with turpentine, forms a gorgeous textured landscapes that seem to barely fit on the canvas. If you move a few steps back and look at the pictures sideways, they look so realistic, like in front of you pictures of the Swiss Alps.
Conrad John Godley was born in the Swiss town of Davos, from 1982 to 1986 he studied at the School of Art Basel, and then for 18 years worked as a photographer. He has collaborated with many well-known fashion magazines, but eventually lost interest in the work.
Godley wanted to go back to painting, but a long break in doubt. Yet in 2006 he went to the city of Chur, Switzerland, leaving a career as a photographer, to seek solace in the origins of art.
For the artist, the mountains symbolize strength, spirituality and the greatness of imperishable, that contrasts with the capricious and fleeting beauty in the fashion world.
