Nikolai Arkhipovich Babayev was born February 28, 1924 in the village of Ust-Sumi now Kargath district of the Novosibirsk region.
Russian. From a peasant family.
He graduated several classes of high school in his native village.
He worked on the farm, then he moved to Novosibirsk and got a job at one of the factories of the city.
In January 1942, he drafted into the Red Army Dzerzhinsky military enlistment office of Novosibirsk. After a six-month military training in the spare parts sent to the part of the army in the Great Patriotic War in August 1942.
Almost three years bravely fought on several fronts, for courage and heroism was awarded three orders.

For courage and heroism in the front of the struggle against the Nazi invaders, the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on June 27, 1945 Sergeant Nicholas Arkhipovich Babayev was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union and the Order of Lenin and medal \ "Gold Star \» (№ 8032 ).
In 1946, Staff Sergeant Baba was demobilized. I lived in Novosibirsk. In 1947 he joined the CPSU (b). He graduated from the Party School. He worked on the mechanical plant in Novosibirsk. He died August 13, 1984. Buried in Novosibirsk. He was awarded the Order of Lenin, World War II degree, the Red Star, the Glory III degrees, medals.
