Two years ago, 28 May 2006, the gas company PT Lapindo Brantas gas exploration conducted in Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia, they drilled wells. At 5 am, in the middle of the stage falls auger drilling 3,700 meters down, and then started a small eruption of water, steam and gas. The flow of hot mud has not stopped since.
Fourteen people were killed and 30,000 people were evacuated from the area. At least a dozen villages with more than 10,000 houses were destroyed
