Amphibian ATV (6 photos, video)

Class! I love ATVs :)

Despite the fact that small amphibious motorcycles are often developed for outdoor activities, their potential in the field of travel, as well as military and rescue operations disproportionately high, since they are much more mobile larger vehicles in the same class terrain. It is therefore not surprising that the trend towards improvement of amphibians has a significant impact on the development of the transport industry.

ATV Quadski, was developed by Gibbs Technologies and presented as a prototype in 2008. The advantage of this model over existing analogues is primarily simple in use. Switching from land mode to water and back again by pressing a single button. At the same time, the transformation takes a really short period of time: in the video below you can see that the transition from land to water surface to the driver actually had to stop.

Unlike some analogs in which the capacity of one of the modes have to sacrifice in favor of another, Quadski copes with both the role of the ATV, and with the function of a water motorcycle: both on land and on water, its speed exceeds 70 km / h.
